Corporate Barista Training for Offices
Barista Training for Office Staff
I come to you!
This service is available to corporate entities and offices in the greater Auckland area. Perfect for office environments that have a commercial coffee machine used for staff and clients.
I can setup a fun and engaging training session with your staff to go over the ins and outs of the coffee machine.
-
Learn how to froth milk properly, pull better tasting shots and combine them to make all the different coffees on the cafe menu.
- I can dial in your grinder settings to ensure coffee shots are extracting correctly and teach you how to keep it this way.
- I will also go over correct cleaning procedures like group head back flushing to keep your machine in good working order and improve bitter tasting coffee.
Keep your staff happy and impress your clients!
This service can involve as many or as little staff as you want. In a training session I will go over the basics over and over again and staff can get on the machine and practice with me or sometimes they just want to sit back and listen in. Typically office staff are busy with their day so what I find is say out of 10 staff, some people will be there for the entire training, others will pop in for 30 minutes or so and some will stop by for just 5.
I will be there repeating the information and answering questions people might have. Often they just want to figure out how to make the milk stop 'screeching' or they want to know the difference between a flat white and a latte. I can help them understand the basics and improve their cup pouring.
Commonly there's one or two staff that are responsible for the cleaning of the machine so I can do a special cleaning procedure run down towards the end of the training to go over that with specific people.

FAQ
-
Can you service our equipment too?
I can do basic servicing like replacing head seals and screens, grinder burrs and water filters at the same time! Please note this is not a preventative maintenance service which should be done every 6-12 months by an espresso technician. We can arrange this for you through Espresso Engineers.
-
I am out of Auckland area, can you help out?
I do travel to places like Whangarei and Hamilton for training. This is possible but can cost more in travel. Please contact us.

How is this different to the regular Coffee Training Course in Devonport?
The training course is more of a high energy workshop focused on pouring cups of coffee, more suited to beginners looking to get into the hospitality industry for work. The Corporate Training Service is more focused on improving your current setup and is tailored to your specific business.
